Organic Banana Nut Almond Milk Smoothie

4-5 ice cubes (depending on how thick you want it and the horsepower of your blender)

1/2 frozen banana (the stellar secret ingredient; take an old banana, peel it, section it, and keep in freezer for smoothies at all times)

1 Tablespoon flax meal or sprouted flax meal

1-2 Tablespoons organic almond butter or organic peanut butter

1 scoop high quality protein powder (with no artificial anything, preferably sweetened by stevia)

1/2 to 3/4 cup organic almond milk, depending on how thick you want it

Place all ingredients in a good blender (I measure a good smoothie maker by horsepower and its ability to blend ice, resulting in a creamy consistency similar to an In-and-Out milk shake). Blend until you hear consistency. Then blend for 30-60 seconds more to insure smoothness. Enjoy! This smoothie has substance and is fan-fricken-tastic!

Organic Chocolate Almond Milk Smoothie

1-2 Tablespoons organic cocoa powder (look for low sugar content, high % of cacao, high fiber)

1 scoop high quality protein powder (with no artificial anything, preferably sweetened by stevia), preferably chocolate

1/2 to 3/4 cup organic almond milk, depending on how thick you want it

* For an extra crunch, add 1/4 cup organic cacao nibs

Place all ingredients in a good blender (I measure a good blender by horsepower and its ability to blend ice, resulting in a creamy consistency similar to an In-and-Out milk shake). Blend until you hear consistency. Then blend for 30-60 seconds more to insure smoothness. Enjoy! This smoothie has substance and is fan-fricken-tastic!
